John O’Brien is a seasoned industrial real estate professional with a diverse background including industrial electrical work and construction. After attending Eastern Michigan University, John pivoted towards a career as a licensed Journeyman Electrician while also obtaining his builder's license. In 1997, an opportunity presented itself to pivot again and transition into commercial/industrial real estate sales, a move that proved to be transformative and fruitful for John’s career and life goals.
With over five years of prior experience as an industrial electrician, John brings a unique perspective to the real estate industry. His hands-on knowledge and expertise have contributed to his success in closing hundreds of transactions, encompassing the sale or lease of millions of square feet of commercial and industrial buildings and hundreds of acres of vacant land for future development.
In 2013, John O’Brien achieved the status of associate broker and became an owner and Principal at Burger & Company, showcasing his leadership and commitment to excellence in the field of commercial/industrial real estate brokerage. Throughout his career, he has worked with notable clients such as Toyota, Michigan CAT, Concord EMS, and McLaren Engines, among others, solidifying his reputation as a trusted advisor and expert in real estate transactions.
Today, John continues to thrive in the real estate industry, focusing on generating office, retail, and industrial transactions in areas including Oakland County and North Western Wayne County.
