Michael Weglarz is a business professional with more than 20 years of experience as a business leader and sales and marketing professional specializing in the insurance, financial services and retail vertical markets. Mike spent most of his successful corporate career working at industry-leading companies Equifax, Arbitron and Epsilon where he developed and facilitated strategic direct and database marketing programs for his Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Weglarz also recently owned and operated a full-service Allstate Insurance agency and currently is an Assistant Professor of Risk Management and Insurance at Olivet College located near Lansing, Michigan. Olivet College has one of the top Risk Management and Insurance programs in the United States.

 

In addition to his real estate license, background and experience, Mr. Weglarz holds a multitude of other licenses and credentials. He currently holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Central Michigan University. He also holds risk management and insurance licenses in property and casualty, life, health and accident insurance with the State of Michigan as well as FINRA securities – Series 6 & 63. Lastly, he recently completed the prestigious risk management credential - Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter – “CPCU” designation of which only 4% of individuals within the industry hold this title. Mr. Weglarz has successfully closed numerous transactions with Burger and Company, many of which involved sensitive negotiations on behalf of his customers and coordinating various requirements with local municipalities.

 

Mr. Weglarz has passion for all sports, as well as a constant thirst for learning and self-improvement. For nearly 20 years, he has coached high school basketball at his alma mater, Brother Rice High School and most recently at Bloomfield Hills High School. Mike resides in the suburban metro Detroit area, is married and the proud father of two.
